I was the official scorer at the Worcester Tornadoes.
It went over without a hitch. There were no tricky calls to make, either. The only problem I had was Steve Cadoret not being a part of the roster — something I definitely should’ve checked and didn’t. I trusted DM too much, on that one.
Went to Wallum Lake in Douglas with my older nephews and had an absolute blast with them both in and out of the water.
They were able to stay at my place late, too, so we ordered Chinese food and watched a couple of movies and played some video games. Good times.
Spent the day at my mom’s house with my cousin and aunt, who were up from NYC.
My aunt cooked some awesome food; meatloaf, eggplant parmesan, rice, beans, salad. Mmmm. So good.
Sunday night went to the movies with JB to see Halloween 2.
Solid movie. Only had one problem with it; Rob Zombie didn’t bring back Daeg Faerch back to play young Michael Myers.
Instead, Chase Vanek was the younger Myers. Faerch was much more effective, and much creepier, as the younger Myers.
The Hurricanes desperately need a win tonight.
There’s no doubt about it.
FSU steamrolled in its final game last year, a 42-13 drubbing of Wisconsin in the Champs Sports Bowl. While Miami lost its last three, including a 24-17 loss to Cal in the Emerald Bowl in San Francisco.
Starts Sunday. Excited and nervous all at the same time.
